The risk of having Lupus is nine times higher in woman than that of men, if it is not detected at the time, then it can damage many organs.

Lupus (Lupus erythematosus) is a collective name for many diseases related to the problem of the immune system. As a symptom of this disease, the butterfly on the face becomes red color, whereas its effects are very painful. World Lupus Day is celebrated on 10th May to increase awareness on Lupus. Understand Lupus
Lupus is an autoimmune disease, on which the body's defense system becomes over-active and attacks normal, healthy tissues. When the body's immune system is working properly, it creates antibodies to fight against viruses, bacteria and other microbes. In the case of Lupus disease these antibodies can not differentiate between microbes and healthy tissues and start attacking healthy tissues. As a result, symptoms of irritation, swelling, joints, skin, heart, blood, lungs etc. are shown.

There are four main types of Lupus:
systemic lupus erythematosus
discoid lupus erythematosus
drug-induced lupus erythematosus
neonatal lupus erythematosus

Out of these, systemic ultraviolet lupus (SLE) is the highest and most severe. It affects 8-11 patients out of every one lakh people in India. There is no cure for Lupus that can end it with root, through treatment, its symptoms can be controlled to some degree.

Symptoms of lupus

Luppus symptoms vary from one person to another. Some people see one or two symptoms, while in some others the symptoms become more difficult. The person suffering from this

Complications in pregnancy: The risk of miscarriage due to women who have lusus problems is high. Lumps cause high blood pressure during pregnancy. In order to reduce the risk of these complications, doctors often recommend delay in pregnancy until your illness is in control for at least six months.

Kidney: Lupus can cause kidney damage. Apart from this, Lupus is the leading cause of kidney failure.

Blood problems: Lupus can cause blood problems, in which the risk of anemia and bleeding or blood clot may increase. It can cause inflammation of blood vessels (vasculitis).

Lung: Lupus increases the likelihood of developing inflammation of chest cavity level (pleurisy), which causes pain in breathing. Bleeding in lungs and pneumonia is also possible.

Heart: Lupus can cause swelling of your heart muscles, your arteries or membrane (pericarditis). The risk of cardiovascular disease and heart attack also increases.

Do this way to prevent Lupus
Actually, this is not a disease, but a group of many diseases. In this, many body parts are affected together. Therefore it is necessary to give special attention to balanced diet in it.

Eat plenty of vitamins and fruits rich in antioxidants.

It is beneficial to use linseed, canola oil, olive oil, fish, linseed, groundnut etc.

Make a distance from baked and fried food. Along with the cream rich foods and high fat dairy products, too.

Avoid Alpha Sprouts (a kind of pods), tablets and seeds. These can cause symptoms to be intensified.

Eat things like low fat milk, yogurt or yogurt, cheese, spinach and broccoli to strengthen bones and muscles.

Things like eggplant, potato and tomatoes can harm some people in this disease. Be sure to consult your doctor before consuming them.
